Philadelphia health officials notify residents of possible measles exposure

City officials, PA Department of Health, and Jefferson Health, notified people who were in the Jefferson Health building - 33 South 9th Street (formerly known as 833 Chestnut Street) on Tuesday, Dec. 19 between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. of a possible exposure.
That location includes practices associated with Jefferson Health and other offices, officials say.

@nursefrombirth hm. how is this then, cause if a person was not born in the building held their forever and subsequently died in the building, then presumably, they were out in public at some point. “Health officials said people who were not in the building at that time were not in any danger of measles exposure”

I wonder if that’s just a Line to avoid some kind of public panic.
