@BillieBun think about it like this, they're testing out a digital version of physical dollars. In the future of physical dollars won't exist. It's different than just money in your checking account because the bank still controls that. This is just the very beginning of a very long multi-year test of such a system. Can't imagine why banks are helping with it though, their assisting to dig their own grave.
