I just realized this today. Open AI reminds me of 1974 and my TI SR-50. I was working at Argonne National Labs in Idaho. The power of that calculator gave me some control of the Universe I lived in. I could write programs that would follow and do iteratively anything I wanted infinitely. At 30 it was the beginning of my journey toward knowledge. I believe we live in some of the most exciting times irrespective of the politics of these times.
