I still mask up. Maybe you don't care about playing Russian Roulette w/ your life or those you come in contact with. I don't want to see what Covid or Long Haul would do to my current or future health status. While Vaccine effectiveness has changed masks still have a 97% efficacy
@sharxbyte Yes you are correct but anything is better than nothing statistically. That mask was my first mask made by a friend at the beginning of the pandemic
@normsmusic in a vacuum, sure, but unfortunately many of the people wearing surgical or cloth masks believe it's offering them more protection than it is, resulting in more hazardous behaviors. It's like wearing sunscreen. It slows down the inevitable effects of sun damage, but people apply it and don't restrict exposure which does more damage than no sunscreen.
