shizzle's getting *real* now...
"House Dem asks Pelosi to sanction lawmakers backing election lawsuit", [Palm Beach Post]
..."He cites provisions in the Constitution outlining that a person cannot serve in Congress if they have "engaged in insurrection or rebellion against" the Constitution or the country and asks the leaders to "evaluate steps you can take" in holding Republicans accountable."
@sentientdessert
there were a shite-tonne of governors, state legislators, non-profits, etc that also bought in publicly on this destuctive case.
regular People like me & you need to step up and tell them off in no uncertain terms, every legal, peaceable, reasonable, indisputable, and PUBLIC way possible!
@sentientdessert I find it interesting that no senators signed on to it. Could they have or did Mitch tell them not too? Pelosi is in a no win situation here. @naikarrah
I agree with you about the corner that Pelosi's boxed into right now...
i also agree that rocking the boat with harsh sanctions right now is a BAD, *BAD* idea. We have far more lethal problems to deal with in the immediate than these trumptards who have sacrificed their honour, integrity, their Oaths, their Offices, and worst of all, their PEOPLE!
@naikarrah @Thumprhare They have no honour. They have no integrity. Their oath is the only thing they violated, as they see their people as those whom they give tax breaks to and get kickbacks from.
Politicians are there to serve the people. Not businesses. Not their donors. Not themselves. The people.
Think it was Jefferson... "The people should not fear their government, the government should fear its people."
Things like THIS are what i'm talking about!
THIS is the stuff that We, The People need to gather together & rise up to show how many ways this was WRONG, according to Rule of Law!
@naikarrah absolutely people in each state need to do this!! @sentientdessert
@naikarrah It is kinda strange seeing people who can actually affect change calling sedition out... hopefully something will come from it.
