i remember when i 1st saw the movie 'what's love got to do w/ it' - the bio pic of tina & ike turner.

it hit me like once were warriors did.

b/c the violence was exactly like my house growing up. they were playing flashbacks to my childhood.

i thought how amazing that tina was able to pick herself up like that. my mom was never able to - she was broken after she left my father & was ill for yrs.

what a hard hard life. she deserves all the rest in peace she can get. just like my mom🙏🏾
