If you get the chance, watch Call Me Chihiro (it's on Netflix).
It's a paced, gentle story centered around a former sex worker who seems to have a knack for comforting the lost and lonely people who stumble through her life. Very touching. It's a little melancholy, but very much worth it, and ends happily.
There is a little adult content (a mild sex scene), but nothing vulgar.
