As a Canadian it’s really hard not to look at the US and think that “it’s only going to get a lot worse”.

I don’t want to think that. I want people in the US to fight back against fascism and put things back on track.

But man, it’s not looking great from an outsider perspective. And it’s making Canada feel a bit like The Netherlands in the mid-1930’s

The pandemic was incredibly bizarre & surreal. The thought that a fascist movement is on the rise next door is even more difficult to process
