I pulled this lampshade out of my neighbor's trash pile. A frame alone of this size & style are stupid expensive (often $50-$75). I removed the old nasty fabric, which was thin & glued to dry rotted plastic. I cleaned the wire & soldered a break. Wrapped it in red bias tape, which is used to sew through.
Yes. No glue. All hand sewn.π
I need to wire up a light socket for it. I already have some #vintage -style black cloth-covered twisted wire.
