I just found out that my county's housing program has new guidelines that became effective on January 1st 🤦🏻‍♀️. And they are going to apply to my case, even though I applied long before those changes. The assistance has been slashed dramatically from what it was during in previous years (another program that existed before also was shut down for good in December 2021 for "lack of funding"), so my hopes of having some time to recoup and make plans to move ✈️, have been deflated ☹️.
