Think about your online interactions as if you are spending emotional capital, because you are. If you have feedback loops of things that scare you and make you angry, you are giving away emotional capital. If you feel a reaction in your body, that is cortisol, aka emotional capital. If you follow people who continue evoke negative emotional capital, you are only hurting yourself.
Choose who you follow. Feed your mind a balanced diet of giving and receiving emotional capital.
Get a text from my Dad: What’s going on with (my Aunt)?
Waaat?! I’ve been with her for two days and she’s doing much better since they stopped the chemo.
She’s on the way to the hospital in an ambulance. No idea what’s wrong, but for her to go back to the hospital is not good. She has endured torturous reactions to chemo and refused to go to the hospital. Positive thoughts appreciated. 💛
My Aunt can’t walk without help after her last round of chemo. So yesterday when I was at her house, a random neighbor showed up asking if he could store his wife’s birthday cake in my Aunt’s fridge overnight. Now back to my Aunt’s I go, to retrieve the cake when he comes to pick it up. Small town happenings.

Returning home to CoSo after a couple years without. It's changed quite a bit since I was last here, so still exploring and settling in.
The lottery used by the Selective Service to determine who would be drafted for Vietnam first. In each capsule is a day of the year, determining the order of draftees by their birthday. Washington D.C. 1969.

I got #51 in my draw and they were taking kids up to #192... but the draft ended before they called me up.
