Open carry is legal in North Carolina. You must be at least 18 years old with no felony convictions.
I would also google the address to see if there were any training events. There are Christian Nationalist orgs that do paramilitary training of church members.

Several months ago, after you told me about them and their Bethel Church School of Supernatural Ministry I read about them for a few hours. It's so bizarre, and the craziest thing about it is how popular and influential is is becoming.

They use all 7 "spheres " of influence. They have a music/movie production studio (Sean Feucht is their creation), computer tech "labs" and are neck deep with local militia types and have been!! I have been screaming about it for 20 years and being hushed because " they create jobs"
