I forgot how to spell abattoir and used Copilot AI to find it. I put my bad guess and "slaughterhouse" and asked how to spell it, Got the answer in seconds. AI is so far just useful and I don't see cause for alarm.
@emergencyremedialtruth I agree.. if we align with positivity and light then we have nothing to worry about with AI - just my opinion.
@emergencyremedialtruth @mims I'm old enough to remember when they warned us that the pollution from the factories, and then in a century or so, automobiles, would kill us all, and look! They are!
@AskTheDevil @mims well yeah there is that but maybe we should have quit inventing stuff right before the industrial revolution. We just have to learn that things change and hanging on to something bad when you have a better choice is just stupid,
@mims People always freak out when anything new that they don't understand comes out until they find it useful. This is just the next example. At one time the bicycle was going to destroy society, I saw this movie already.
