They like morning sun (secure) placement they don't like to sway in the wind.. and I've made sure mine get some protection from the heaviest winds and rains, Keep your mud located somewhat nearby like within ten feet and voila! You can be a beekeeper too, just not in the honeybee sort of way! I hope you try it and I know that crownbees.com is the most super reputable supplier of stuff and information.
