#oldage #humor I've been thinking about how many old friends I've outlived, how far I seem to be an outlier in my chosen and found tribe over the years. I've attended so many funerals and wakes. My oldest friends all long gone.

But I look about, and most of the friends I have now, I am confident they will outlive me. The chance I have to attend a funeral does go down every year, doesn't it.

At some point, someone else will have to deal with _my_ darn funeral! And I won't have to lift a finger!
