Timeline cleanse:
Sharing something pretty cool that I did with the fam this summer. We met and learned about some American raptors including an all personality Golden Eagle and got to dabble with a bit of falconry with this stunning Harris Hawk. It was surprising how gentle the landing was on my arm (gloved). I always understood that bird bones were hollow for flight, but expected to at least feel a bit of a thump as it landed. Not at all. Truly magical morning!
