OMG, I've been in iPhone hell 9 hours! Intermittent connectivity issues w/cellular & wifi since the last couple software updates. Sometimes my apps would connect, most times not!

I've researched all day, tried all the "fixes" with no luck. FINALLY, I found a source for the last update specifically. It was the damn VPN!

I've deleted all the VPN profiles, cleared cookies & browsing history, restarted my phone and by golly, right now everything works.

Still got it 💪 But, oh, the stress 🙄

^^ I'll set the VPN up again at some point but damn this was an awful lot of figuring out.

The second and last tech challenge today was to sort out why the Mister suddenly wasn’t able to send or receive emails. The outgoing email service was changed a couple weeks ago but not incoming.

Bottom line.. someone had been fiddling with settings. Ahem 🙄 and it wasn’t me. Thankfully this one was an easier fix and I knew what I was doing.

Imma gonna put parental controls on his laptop if he doesn’t stop “trying to fix things” 🙃😬😂

That’s enough of this tech stuff for today. I’m spent 🙃

As frustrating as these tech challenges are sometimes to me, I must keep trying to figure out things on my own best I can.

So much of life is dependent on technology & not keeping up w/it is just not an option.

I won't be left behind if I can help it. There will come a day, but for now, I need to keep learning. It's easy to throw my hands up & have someone else do things. But, then I lose control of vital pieces of information.

I'm really not looking forward to when "that day" comes.
