Over 7 hours on the road, left with a full take & have filled up three times, gas mileage down to 7.3 as we “climb” out of sea level into the hills and dales of the south and a side wind gusting over 20.
The Mister is good and sleeps off and on. My playlist keeps me company.
Only 1 incident of someone pulling out in front of this 15,000 lb, over 60’ setup and soon found out how loud these horns were.
Southbound is a parking lot, slow & standstill most of day.

Why I hate big roads. Looks like road work delays for some ways. Sigh.Six hours more drive time plus 2-3 fuel stops + road work delays. I’m feeling good. Just want to get home.
