you will want to refresh
or go to settings
or log out and back in
i think you are on a non production server
@millard_jmm: I switched from Brave browser, the one I've used since I first got on here back in the day, to Safari, and everything's fine. Desktop is normal.

and going back in would refresh
your environment also
i've it happen to me a couple of times
in my case usually when i log in
if i see square profile pics
and all those extra icons on the right
i know i need to refresh everything
@millard_jmm: Also, can't logout. Logout is covered up by that stuff in the lower right-hand corner.
if logout or settings covered
try tapping on counter social
icon in upper left
if that doesn't take care of it
close the tab and browser
and go back in
