Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the UK’s Chief of the Defence Staff, the senior professional officer in the UK military, gave testimony to the UK Parliament’s Defence Committee.

He tries to describe what the Ukrainians are doing—and he calls their tactics: “starve, stretch and strike”

Sounds a lot like what @Render calls “bite and hold.”

H/T: Phillips O’Brien

@mikeharmanos Ukrainian bite-and-hold tactics are slightly different then those used by General Herbert Plummer in WW1.

The difference is in the different methods for achieving the same tactical goals are driven by current Ukrainian capabilities and modern weapons systems.

Disappointed that the UK’s Chief of the Defense Staff, the senior professional officer in the UK military, doesn't recognize his own armies history.
