Just got spam through my Outlook calendar...ugh, a new battlefront.
Yes, spammers are now sending calendar appointments which, by default in Outlook, get automatically added to your calendar regardless of whether you accepted it or not.
@michaelsfine JUST WHEN I THOUGHT THINGS COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE!!
...wait, I don't use Outlook. But that's still REALLY SUCKY for everyone who does.
@GroovySooz @michaelsfine I'm sure Google users will be next.
@AmazonianRex @michaelsfine
haHA, I'd like to see them try to spam my faux-leather page-a-day planner!
@GroovySooz @michaelsfine wow your methods are so archaic, lol. But if my calendar starts to get spammed I'll be doing the same.
@AmazonianRex @michaelsfine Actually it's because of my job - sometimes I'm not able to keep my phone charged if a birth goes really long. And I have to schedule the postpartum visit while I'm still at the birth. So I've found the planner is more reliable. Also, I've never made a mistake with entering an appointment in the planner. Prolly TMI, but sometimes archaic is best! 😉
@michaelsfine that's next level spamming, glad I don't use outlook.
