I've been seeing a lot of newcomers expressing overwhelm about the firehose. If you want, you can hide it. Go into settings & turn on "ostrich mode," & there you go! Also, if you just want it to pause while you finish reading a post, scroll down away from the top, & it will stop constantly refreshing. Also, also, hashtags & filters are your friends! You can pin hashtags as their own feed column if you're using CoSo on your desktop. It's a lot like TweetDeck that way. #cosotips #firehosetips
