Are there any artists out here that use iPads for their drawings, and if so, can y’all suggest any resources for a beginner to look at to get started?

@Ten8cious Thanks! I’ll look into that. I would imagine that most artists rely on an Apple Pencil as well?

@eustace @Ten8cious I hope it's ok if I join in.... I much prefer my Apple Pencil that I finally broke down and bought over the less expensive stylus I tried using before. It's just much more responsive to pressure differences. Also, I highly recommend a paper texture screen protector because it gives you a lot more control with your line work. But it will unfortunately wear down your pencil tips, so having replacement tips on hand is a good idea.

@meganpaasch Please do join in! I’m happy to hear about everyone’s experiences and I’ll take all the help I can get!

Is there a specific type or brand of screen protector that you’d recommend?

@eustace Great! I really like these. They seem a little more durable to me than some others I've tried, so I don't need to replace them very often. BERSEM [2 PACK] Paperfeel Screen... amazon.com/dp/B07N36J5FC

@meganpaasch Thanks! I'll have to see if I can find them on the Canadian site.

@eustace Oh, sorry, about that! I'm sure they're available there, too. Fingers crossed!

@meganpaasch 100% agree on both of your comments! I love my Apple Pencil & my paper texture screen protector @eustace

@Ten8cious @eustace That ArtStudio app looks interesting. Thinking of getting it and playing around with it.
