Do people do writing sprints on here? I might need to do some of that tomorrow if anyone's game. No promises though. It's going to depend on if I'm feeling better. But hopefully? I'm behind where I'd like to be. #writers #cosowriters #amwriting #wip #writingsprints
@meganpaasch the getting rid of the likes and boosts when you edit is honestly the only way to go. It’s not fair to people who have boosted especially to let the message be changed but left on the booster’s TL without them knowing
@jlizhill Exactly!
@meganpaasch How do I search hashtags within CoSo?
@Captain_Gogo I'm not sure yet. I know about the ones I used because someone else posted about them. Tooted about them? I guess we say tooted here, lol.
@Captain_Gogo Just above the spot where you type in a toot (heh) is a search bar. It's not obvious, because it blends in, but it's there. Just search for the hashtag.
@meganpaasch
@meganpaasch I do writing sprints over on Twitch. I don't usually do sprints on "regular" social media, because then I end up getting distracted by everything else happening on the platform.
Also, I edited this post! (I wanted to add different hashtags.) Deleting and redrafting without losing the words you already wrote is definitely the way to go if you're going to allow editing on a social media platform. I also like that it gets rid of your likes and boosts on the original so someone can't change what they wrote to make it look like people boosted something they wouldn't normally boost or agree with. That's been my fear with a Twitter edit button.
