Steve Jobs could be an asshole and a jerk, and that's often true. But he had a real vision (for better or for worse). Elongated Muskrat, on the other hand, is a wannabe of the worst kindβand that's the scary part. He doesnβt have a clear vision. He just wants people to like him, and that will never happen. He has to pay for affection. What a sad turd of an existence.
My favorite story about Steve's visionary asshole-ishness is when the iPod team came to show off their first engineering prototype sample.
Before they got a sentence out, Steve says, "It's too big. Make it smaller."
A lot of wailing over the impossibility of the ensued.
Steve walked over to the aquarium in his office, dropped the prototype INTO it, pointed at it, and said, "See all those bubbles? That means there's SPACE inside. Make it SMALLER."
End of meeting.

The first iPod Touch had a PCB that was FOLDED in the middle.
