@matuzalem i think god can exist. a creator who doesn't care about what they've created. just set things in motion & let 'er rip. in this case...trump could exist in that kind of world, no?
God created people and gave them free will is the usual explanation here.

The Buddha basically said, "Don't worry about gods, they've got their own issues, and they don't include worrying about you, particularly."

I suppose there's no shortage of evangelicals who view the ongoing existence of the Democratic Party in general and Kamala Harris in particular as some sort of failing on God's part, or at least a mystery.

@matuzalem ah, the god i was told about the god i've come to believe likely exists, are not the same.
the benevolent, loving, creator? i can't do the mental gymnastics required to believe that fiction. i mean, maybe as a child. but not now.
but as an uncaused cause to the big bang or the creator of the brilliant design of life? sure. i think this god doesn't give a fuck what we all do & how we all evolve & unravel.
