The Ravens do
What the Ravens do
Bravely up
Beyond my ken
To fly above
My foggy world
I stay down here
In the land of men
And strain to reach
Your lofty heights
And every day
Again I'll try
No matter how hard
I cannot fly
I cannot join
Your raucous joy
With mine.
So I'll wait a while
And love the land
And take again
My lovers hand
And then perhaps
We'll fly together
To something
That approaches heaven.
