Campion, harebells
And tall white campanula
Bright blue-white
Almost blinding
Like the light
Of a thousand stars
Wild winds
Tore the cotton from the boll
And the moor glows grey
With gossamer
How sweet it is
To be abroad in the morning
Breathing in
This honeyed air.
Time is racing
And I sometimes wish
I was a child again
With no care for the future
And the summer
Stretching out before me
Like a river

@matty7w I looked up the wildflowers you mention and can imagine seeing them in the wind. I also wish I could experience all of nature as a child again. I spent summers on a farm in NW Wisconsin. It was heaven for a city kid. Thanks, Marty. You hit the 🎯of my heart again.

@allin what a beautiful message. Thank you so much. I think that I am practising seeing with childlike eyes. It's so wonderful what you can see when you try.

@allin I was going all Back to the Future 😊x
