It was nice to see that the UK Supreme Court still has some guts. What I saw happen there today would never happen in the US, where Congress and the Senate and the Supreme Court are all largely staffed by spineless partisan lickspittles.

won't be convicted. Only 2 Presidents have ever been impeached, and both were cleared by the Senate (Nixon resigned before it got that far). But if the House votes to impeach, it will still send a significant message.
