I'm not a socialist and this chick is problematic as fuck, but I'm still enjoying the fact that yet ANOTHER 20-something girl has ousted a multiple term incumbent in a Democratic primary.

At the end of the day I'm just sort of against rich old white men in office in general right now. At least if a first term Millennial turns out to be completely insane, there isn't a cabal of rich fucks in power who will sacrifice the country to back her anyway. So there's that.

I have socialist sensibilities, and I share your concerns about the political elite. But I would be very **very** worried to have that woman get anywhere near a seat of power.

When we have to choose between the crazy and the sleazy, democracy is indeed in danger.
