As I prepare to turn on #MSNBC to watch Alex Wagner, I'm suddenly struck by what I read a few days ago. I hate to say it but they are a preference bubble and although I've read "alternative sources", I know they only ever have guests who align with "our" blue ideals. I feel a little lost. I mean, I won't stop watching them but I would actually like them to have differing points of view now.
@wolfwoman 2/2 As for print and web news not a fan of the sloppy nature of some sources. For example, many are big fans of using anonymous sources. There's nothing wrong with that but you can't rely solely on that and they often overuse that. If you use anonymous sources you better be prepared to back up what those sources tells you with supporting evidence or other testimony. I am a big fan of Democracy Now on FSTV. Straight facts, good background context so viewers understand the issues.
