Has anyone seen those historical movies? You know, the ones where women wore 75 pounds of fabric and frills and so many undergarments it actually made sex a chore for men? Sigh, yeah, it was a pain, but it had its usefulness.😂

The 2008 HBO miniseries John Adams has a love scene in period-appropriate clothes which takes this on directly. It was kind of sweet and thoroughly ridiculous.
