What a horrendous day.
@TheStorySmith not really. Was finally getting on top of the physical health (can walk again thanks to the chiro visits) and getting the ADHD diagnosis and have been told we have to move out in the new year because we're apparently a burden, entitled and lazy (all total bs). So financially screwed from all the treatment things to be able to walk again and figure out how to stop the executive functioning issues and now need to figure out how to move the length of the country and find a new house
That truly IS awful! What A-hole does that to ppl at Xmas?
You can walk again: that's a positive! I am also recovering from a severe back problem, and being physically incapacitated like that knocks the mental stuffing out of you more that you'd expect. But at least now you can move, so that will be slightly less weight on your spirit.
It'll be a gruelling month+, but focus on one thing at a time -- don't look at the size of the mountain, just look for the next foothold. ๐ค
@TheStorySmith yeah, parents know just how to make things infinitely worse and kick you when you're down
@lilyunsub Oh - thought you meant a landlord! Whoops! ๐ ๐ I'm sure they are not A-holes! ๐ I hope they are giving you plenty of notice/time to get yourself sorted. Maybe a bit of Xmas merriment might be a good time to have a heart-to-heart with them and ask for a bit of help/time? xx
@TheStorySmith Its both. But yeah, good times :/
@lilyunsub ๐
Sorry to hear that. You OK?
