I did it stone cold ( no training ) & only brought a couple of pepsi's a some cigs
( Oh to be in my 20's again )
The toughest for me was the ascent to the top
( 1 step , pause 15 breaths & hit repeat ) and the coming down was a bit sketchy
We did it in the summer time
No crampons for this hiker, then or ever
