Today I got a beautiful bag of fresh jalapeños which I love. With no way to eat them all is there some way to freeze them?

Chopped, sliced or whole? Does freezing compromise the texture/flavor?

@LnzyHou Jalapeños freeze remarkably well when sliced into rounds and put into Ziploc bags. They keep even better if you can get your hands on a vacuum bag sealer - the kind that uses a hand-held pump. That'll keep the frost from getting in.

@LnzyHou Either way. If you cut simple rounds, the seeds & ribs will be left in by default. However, if you want to remove the seeds & ribs, I recommend cutting the jalapeño in half, removing the seeds & ribs, then cutting half-moons out of each cleaned side. I've done both - they both work,.
