I'd had enough of 2022. For my midnight NYE celebration, I forgot about my myriad medications for an hour and treated myself to a dram of the Port Askaig 110 proof single malt Islay scotch whisky, softened by a wee bit of water to open it up some. It was worth the celebratory wait, even if the drink had a bit of a burn to it. 'Tis to be expected at 110 proof.
