Day 4 in the hospital. Left leg still red & swollen. Vancomycin cancelled & replaced w/2 oral antibiotics. My doctor started giving me 60mg IV Lasix diuretic for the swelling, now that my blood pressure is back up to something more normal. The floodgates have opened on that venue, and my nurse has to measure my, *ahem*, output for the time being.

Still having level 7-8.5 pain in my right arm. Getting Dilaudid for that - it does *some* good. Waiting for a dose now.

@leejackson I am so sorry you are going through this! Especially the pain part. Rooting for a speedier recovery & you feeling good again 🪷

@leejackson Hope you are feeling better soon and the pain eases up.

@leejackson
Hell and 1/2 way back! So sorry to hear. Hope you get a restful night.💜

@damselfly59 Thanks - I'm going to try sleeping in the recliner tonight. Laying down exacerbates my arm pain, since part of the problem is an inflamed rotator cuff.

@leejackson @damselfly59 ouch! You could use a break! Hoping you get some sleep

@leejackson
Phew, rotator cup is manageable. Recliner over hospital bend any day. Aren't you supposed to be gearing up to hit the RV trail?

@leejackson Once I was hospitalized for 12 days. Every day IV lasix. Reason for me? Congestive heart failure. They took 32 pounds yes 32 out of me. I was a scarecrow when I left. Same thing as you. Measured my output and weight constantly. Only had Dilaudid once. After my prostate cancer surgery. Knocked me right out. Refused it after that. Best of luck.
