I so agree. I love physical books, but paper and binding is not integral to story telling at all.

I've gotten into audiobooks on Librivox over the last few years, and discovered that a good reader can not only tell the story, but make it pop!

My mind goes back to where it all came from, story-telling, epic poems. Beowulf, The Odyssey,

I even find the story-telling in some video games compelling, and no less valid than any other medium.
