As a slightly late follow up to a previous post a good while back, my next-door neighbor I grew up over the fence from has now been sentenced to second-degree murder as well as interfering with a body.

She killed her abusive boyfriend in his sleep, hid his body for months as she slowly dismembered him and distributed his remains to various areas of the city.

Considering how kind and polite I remember her to be, it only goes to show that anyone can have it in them.

@lacuda oh course if decent laws about domestic abuse were in place, she might not have been pushed to that level.

@Liliki the problem is, we have laws about it here. We have women's shelters. Her parents were happy to have her back after she left the apartment, without knowing what she had done yet. We have a great many steps in place to protect women and give them the chance to get out of the situation.

Unfortunately for her, she told undercover police officers a bit too much information that conflicts with her story. She embellished her crime, even bragging about it.
