@th3j35t3r this is why my greatest fear for the growth of the Internet is it will eventually be standard to have either an implant or an otherwise non-invasive device that connects to the Internet and augments reality for us. Humans are by natural evolution a very social species, but also very memetic, and I fear a massive collapse of societal growth will be imminent. Having the Internet on our phones has become a poison of privilege with a sense of necessity.
