My mom's cat she got after her divorce, named "Freedom", is having some severe health issues. Barely eating, throwing up lots. Took him to the vet, and they say he has 3 rotten teeth, and is likely throwing up from stress. They estimate it will be $1,400 to remove the teeth, but she's low income. I think the stress is being induced by his tooth pain, which seems like the most obvious candidate. Does anyone know of any low income vet services in Canada?

@Anemone we're going to look at SPCA tomorrow. I'm 90% certain his teeth are the cause of all his issues. She thinks he's dying all of a sudden despite the blood tests coming back fine. When he bites while eating, he jumps back in shock. She told me he was eating or drinking all day. I open up a can of tuna and strain out all the meat, give him the juices and suddenly he's gobbling it up. Has to be the teeth.

@lacuda Once the teeth are removed, he'll feel better right away. (my son had a cat who had some removed)
