A giant cargo ship "Felicity Ace" is on fire in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
It's carrying a cargo of Porsche and VW automobiles.
The crew safely abandoned ship in lifeboats. Under maritime law the ship is now "finders keepers."
oh now I understand why it was abandoned so quickly (18hrs ago).
Half of the cars are electric.
@Render I've never actually thought to ask this....are electric cars inherently a greater explosive risk when on fire over regular cars with no fuel?
@lacuda Yes. lithium battery fires burn much hotter are extremely difficult to put out.
