@QueenOfEverything Look up lenticulus tigerus mushroom. I think you can just cut them off and they will stop growing after a bit.
@QueenOfEverything they aren't bad for your garden, as they are breaking down the wood in the mulch.
They're also edible but apparently a little tough.
I understand now... it's a bit scary... there is a group of those same monster mushrooms growing on the ground next to a raised bed, and it had grown over the nozzle on the hose... when I pulled out the nozzle, there was a perfect indentation where the nozzle had been!
I think I'll just let them be... the weather is finally getting warmer... they'll probably disappear. Thanks again !

Thanks so much…. I’m new to the Pacific Northwest and I’ve never had so many large, unique and awesome mushrooms in my garden. I did find an article that has several methods of removal. In addition to the heavy rain climate, I bought last years mulch from the city and I think that might have introduced a lot of different species. I’ll be replacing that mulch as I remove all the mushrooms. 🌻🌻🍄🟫🌻🌻
