Gonna practice colorwork until it kills me.

Or I actually fix my tension.

One of those.

@redenigma I’m a tight knitter, but I over corrected based on advice I had read. I *think* for me the advice is just knit normally, but space the stitches. We’ll see how the current project goes.

@Beanc if you knit too tight, sometimes using SS needles helps loosen up. with colorwork though, your brain tries to tell you that there's going to be holes or the carried yarn is going to show if you don't pull tight at color changes. your brain is being dumb. don't listen to it.

@redenigma @Beanc I have the same issue - I found that if it was one color adn then the other (think 1x1 checkerboard) I was okay, but more than that I'd pull.

There's a trick that sometimes works, that if you are knitting in the round to knit inside out. The floats are on the outside and you won't tend to pull as much.

@kismatt @redenigma oh that’s a nifty one. If this doesn’t work I’ll try that!

@kismatt @redenigma one of these days I’ll do one of those projects

@Beanc @redenigma having said all that, I've been doing Tunisian & mosaic crochet a lot lately. lol Goes with my lace knitting, which is all solid color.
