Okay, #PollTime!
My mother is claiming the old #fabric I inherited from my grandma when she died in 2020 is "too old and cheap" to use in a full size quilt. I claim that it has been in ziploc bags/plastic tubs for most of its life & making a quilt (putting it in a sandwich with batting & a backing) would reinforce it & be a good stash-buster. (If I can't use this fabric for #quilting, I probably need to throw it away because it's needless clutter in my small art loft... 😔) #sewing #fiberarts
P.S. I should say one more thing... all of this fabric was discarded by my mother and given to me as she cherry-picked my grandma's fabric after she died...
@SandHillThicket so she thinks YOU shouldn't use it because SHE didn't use it. How dare you make something pretty out of something she discarded!
@kismatt I was thinking that could be a possibility?! 😂 I'd rather believe she was looking out for the quilt for the first few washes though!
