Mom wanted me to get her a pattern to knit but hasn't really picked up needles in abt 10 years.
So we got her yarn (fuzzy, worsted) & needles, picked a pattern, & got her started on it before I came home (she: fl, me: stl). I knitted a sample of the pattern in a different yarn (smooth, cotton) so she would have a reference.
Went to Joann's yesterday found more of that same cotton on sale. I just knew she wasn't happy with the fuzzy, so I bought enough for the pattern.
