I feel you! I volunteered at Last Hope and they took in a lot of rescues from the south. Lots of beagles who were used for breeding and then discarded. ! I love all dogs, but a beagles eyes kill me every time!

I totally understand what you are saying! Knowing that is a sign of a responsible pet owner. I am in the same situation. We just moved to a new place in July. In the process of having work done. I want everything to be done, so I can adopt a rescue from Last Hope. I want to bring my fur baby into a peaceful environment. No unnecessary stressors! You will know when you and your home are ready to welcome a new fur baby!
