I told my wife as she arrived from work (double shift) not to park in the driveway just in case the tree succumbed, and I told her to park behind the (random) car already in the street. She parked in front of it. Should I move her car? She has comp insurance but she couldn't replace it for what they'll give her.

@kismatt Everything will probably be ok but I've never experienced soil so wet. Where she parked, she'd take a hit. Even if it's a 5% chance, guess I should move it.

@kismatt She asked me right away after her shower whether I moved her car, then complained that she wanted to be able to see it. I explained that I knew she would feel some kind of way about my being pushy or something, but I thought it was prudent, that if the tree came down and hit her car, I would feel guilty. I think it stuck (it's the truth).

@kismatt Who TF is out stealing cheap cars during a tropical storm, anyway?
