I feel like the end of this long weekend needs the appearance of some ice cream...

@mightymite Sorry, didn't see the reply - a concrete is a blended frozen custard. Think DQ Blizzard except with frozen vanilla or flavored custard instead of soft serve.
Frozen custard has egg yolk solids in the recipe, and has a richer mouth feel.
Frozen custard has spoiled me to most ice cream lol It's closer to gelato than ice cream, but with more butterfats.

@kismatt I'm curious about the term "concretes"...never heard that used before. Is that a regional thing?
