@CindersPDX thanks!! Been to Portland once (does the airport count?), stayed in Lincoln City for almost a week last October, loved it!!
@CindersPDX We stopped at the Giant Airplane On The Roof on the way back - I had NO IDEA AT ALL that the Spruce Goose was there! I geeked out all over the place!!! It was lovely - we were in Taft overlooking the ocean and I brought back about 5 lbs of seaglass and rocks XD
@kismatt HA! That is so awesome!!! Me living in the middle between our coastal beaches and our Mount Hood, makes me a bit so me. Oh, if you get a chance, check out my one twin son Andrew who will now be playing live on stage on our Waterfront Blues Festival here in PDX July 1st. Google Andrew Matthews Live. BTW, I favor our beaches a bit more than our mountains.. but I do love both.
@CindersPDX LOL Well, I'm in the middle of the US, so I won't make it for the music.
Funny:
1.my cousin lives in SEA and is named Andrew (diff last name)
2. my last name is Matthews, with 2 "t" s too. HA!! Got any relatives in MO? ;)
@kismatt My Brit hubby is Matthews. Moved here from the UK in 2001 to marry me. We had our twin boys in 2003. My hubby insisted on naming our twin boys.. I wanted Conner and Cameron but he won and named them Andrew & Cameron. No, no one that I know of in my Jensen family in the US came from MO but I do know part of our family was also not only Norwegian , English but also native Indian from the US. Seriously, our family is years of the melting pot and proud of it too.
@kismatt My sister lives in Lincoln City. AND Stopping in PDX airport definitely counts! Next time, check out Mount Hood too!
